In & Around Llangollen

Those of you who attended the other 2 Internationls that we hosted will know that the town is picturesque and busy, centered around the white waters of the River Dee. The Llangollen branch of the Shropshire Union Canal and the Llangollen Heritage Steam Railway. It is ideally situated for some fabulous riding roads deeper into North Wales.

Firstly ......... lets look at  pronunciation as we hear lots of interesting attempts!! LOL

Just outside the town you can visit the Horseshoe falls which is very pretty. Alternatively if you don't mind heights you can walk across Pontcysyllte Aqueduct as you see the narrow boats navigate it.

Literally a few miles up the road you have the famous biker ride up the Horseshoe Pass (Welsh: Bwlch yr Oernant, "Pass of the Cold Stream") A few miles further on heading out to Mold & you can find The Old Stores Motorbike Cafe, which has just been voted #1 in the UK Top Bike Cafes of 2025

From there you can travel on up into Snowdonia National Park with its stunning roads and scenery. Capel Curig, Llanberis Pass, Beddgelert and Llyn Ogwen are a few options for seeing North Wales at its stunning best. Our rideout(s) will be amazing!
